Established in 1999, Pro Materia creates an efficient framework around contemporary design projects in order to support designers and companies reaching their goals and to promote them with a long term vision. Its aim is that more design projects start gaining depth and relevancy. The one and only ingredient is in fact to add a human and creative value to the process behind products and services. Added to Pro Materia, Rouge Design is its brand new activity, positioning itself more than a creative platform that offers – thanks to its Pro Materia experience - its design expertise to Belgian and foreign companies. It represents NellyRodi Trends Office in Belgium and is publishing its quartely TL magazine – Trends & Living since January 2009.

Pro Materia has a database of more than 10,000 contacts in Belgium and worldwide. Its free monthly newsletter promotes its activities and key design events from Belgium and abroad. Selections and specific researches and contacts with designers and design-led companies can be made on request.

Communicate effectively
Pro Materia can handle the content and editorial coordination of leaflets, websites and reference publications and books. By working with publishers and graphic designers as well as with communication agencies on an everyday basis, Pro Materia can take care of public relations and specific design studies. With TL Magazine – Trends & Living, Pro Materia / Rouge Design reaches more than 10,000 professionals in fashion, design and retail in Belgium, France, Netherlands.

Organizing specialized and focused events. Pro Materia is curating or is setting up regularly design exhibitions at the Creative Space Kreon – Pro Materia, a brand new location in Brussels, and is also involved into the conception and management of creative call for projects (label-design, parckdesign, thewhitehotel), design events at the whitehotel in Brussels (designr.rdv), design fairs in Belgium or abroad (Authentice Belgian Creativity, Design Kiosks), crafts and/or design conferences and workshops (Human Cities), crafts and design radio and TV productions.
